The roots that shaped him
The Warille family remembers a home shaped by faith, discipline, education, affection and service. Labana was the eighth of nine children—one of four sons in a family that also included five daughters. Respect for elders, care for others and commitment to education were reinforced through everyday family life.
Growing up together
Childhood in Fitihab Block 10 was filled with school, football, music and the close companionship of siblings and neighbourhood friends. Those ordinary days formed habits of sharing, patience, responsibility and teamwork that remained visible throughout his life.
The first steps toward knowledge
At St. Francis Primary School in Khartoum, and later at Comboni College Khartoum, education became more than preparation for employment. It was understood as a lifelong responsibility and a path toward character, purpose and service.
