Our commitment
We aim to provide clear headings, keyboard access, visible focus indicators, meaningful link text, text alternatives for important images, sufficient colour contrast and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and larger screens.
Memorial publications
The Memorial Book page identifies separate accessible and mobile editions. Some historical photographs and source documents may contain limitations inherited from their original format, age or condition.
Known limitations
Older archival images may have incomplete descriptions while identification and caption work continues. Large PDF files may take time to open on slower connections. We will improve these materials as verified information and suitable source files become available.
