A life of service does not end at farewell; it remains in the people who carry its light forward.
The final days
On 30 June 2025, Daniel Warille went to Labana’s home after receiving his call that he was unwell. A family effort to seek urgent care became a night of anxiety, prayer and hope. Labana died in the early morning of 1 July 2025 at 3:27 a.m., surrounded by the love and concern of his family.
A community gathered
An overnight vigil was held at the family home in Hai Kuwait on 4 July. The memorial service followed at St. Thomas Church, Moru Church, Munuki, on 5 July, before burial at the family home in Gudele Block 6. Final funeral rites were held on 7 July.
The family carries his love
For Manella and their daughters, remembrance became a form of continuing love—held through faith, protection and the stories that keep their father present in the home. Family, colleagues, church members and friends continue to carry his example.
